1d. Comments: 
Maintenance project - technically they do not have to post an Alabama registration. However, they did obtain USACE and other permits required for the project acording to Mr. Brewer. Repair was for damage during December flooding. It took until recently to obtain permits.

Sediment laden water is now prevented from leaving the site to the extent reasonably possible from a riverside project of this type.

Project is complete and bare soil areas have been stabilized - seeding, mats etc. One area still requires fertilizer.

Vegetation is intact to the degree possible and bare ground has been seeded.

10. General Comments: 
Site is now seeded. Will observe again to check for successful vegetation. Also, planning is underway to do some vegetative stabilization (willow stakes, whips etc.) around the river access point created as part of the project. Mr. Brewer agreed - said it was OK to proceed with such as effort.

Enforcement Log Notes: 
Mr. Brewer responded on the next work day. I visited the site again on May 5 after original visit on May 1 and found that all work had been completed and that stabilization was complete except for application of fertilizer on one area. Will continue to observe site for effectiveness of stabilization. Planning effort to protect access point created by project with biostabilization (willow staking etc.)
