Example of good BMPs that prevented disturbed soil from discharging sediment pollution into Dog River Waterbasin during heavy rains (Over 2 inches) the day before.

1. Well anchored mulch kept soil loss to a minimum.
2. The well constructed Type-A silt fence provided additional protection from erosion. Nice clear water still standing in the ditch.
3. Further down the ditch is an erosion control waddle providing a 3rd layer of BMP protection to keep our waters clean.
