FAQ

Muddy Water Watch is a unique project in that it involves all nine North Carolina Riverkeepers®.  The Riverkeepers are part of the Waterkeeper Alliance®, a nationwide organization that is dedicated to protecting and preserving waters around the world.  Because erosion and sedimentation problems are affecting all parts of North Carolina, it was a job that all the Riverkeepers could work together in defeating.  Please click the appropriate watershed on the map to learn more about the Riverkeeper in that area and the organization that sponsors them.

“When things get so far wrong as to attract their notice, the citizens, when well informed, can be relied upon to set them right.”
